Can't find a port, 2.2.3 Pro, ICS client Limewire 2.2.3 Pro runs fine on my ICS gateway running Windows ME. I want to run it on my ICS client (running Windows 95 OSR2) to save resources on the gateway. When I try to run it there I get the "Could not find a port to use for incoming connections" message. Port 6346 is blocked, although I don't think any other program is using it. If I accept port 6355 that comes up in Tools>Options>Port, it doesn't reject that port, but I still can't connect. I've switched to JRE 1.4.0 (and changed the shortcut to point to that version) but still no luck. It doesn't seem to be firewall-related; I can turn off Zonealarm on both machines and still no difference. Is ICS blocking 6346? Can I unblock it? Is it something else? |
