Default Can someone help me please (one green connection bar)

I have read and read on here and tried everything. Nothing seems to be working. I installed Limewire. I have Windows one care. I made limewire an exception in my Windows security.(Is the one care and Windows security 2 separate firewalls?) I have unninstalled and re-installed Limewire to no avail, but the globe is still behind a firewall. I also get the famous one green bar. Can anyone help me please? I would greatly appreciate you.

Tamir, Jupz, jewelsweb & chrisfla each need to provide these details: System details - help us to help you (click on blue link)

First place to check for fixes are: (1) If LW Will Not Connect (click on the blue link) & try a combination of those.

(2) Make sure your firewall has LW as an exception: Setting up an exception for LimeWire in your software firewall (click in link)

Since FrostWire (FW) has been working is LW still not connecting? If no, then http://www.gnutellaforums.com/334494-post15.html
A bit of mucking around; find the FW preferences folder: How to delete your FrostWire Preferences folder (click on link) but do NOT delete this folder. Open this folder. Find Gnutella.net file. Copy it. Paste it into the LW Preferences folder replacing the 'older' LW Gnutella.net file. If you are unable to paste it directly into it, then make a copy of it & drag & drop it across into it. Perhaps remove the older LW gnutella.net file first from the LW prefs folder. LW prefs folder is found here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...tml#post183932 (do not delete the folder, just to let you know where to find the folder, & open it.)

ie: C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\FrostWire\gnutella.net & copy across to C:\Documents and Settings\*yourusername*\Application Data\limewire folder.
