MalwareBytes Anti Malware

MalwareBytes Anti Malware will block your internet access to P2P.
It will also block some websites like Game Copy World.
Dont get me wrong, the program is great and I highly recommend you keep it aside for instances when your PC acts up due to malware or viruses.
That said, it is not enough to just exit out of the program or stop it.
It must be removed from your system in order to get Internet connection restored on LimeWire.
Hope that helps a few of you out that may have it installed....:rolleyes_2:

It doesn't have to be uninstalled. The startup entry has to be removed, so the program doesn't startup with the computer. After that, you can turn it on to scan and then restart your computer to turn it off.

If we get quite technical, then website block function can be removed from it through registry. I'm sure the same is possible with P2P programs. But why go to the trouble when removing a startup entry is enough.

Malware bytes...(bites)

I have downloaded this program in the past due to claims that it would be one of the few capable of removing the pesky (fake) antivirus 2009 software. My experience was less than okay, it was barely capable of starting up let alone finding anything worth deleting. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVAST Anti Virus. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what would be the best anti spy/ anti malware software? I'm looking for true results

You should read the exchange between Remoc and myself, it might help.

Thanks for that man, I've pretty much worked out the virus situation, not sure EXACTLY what it was but I fought it for 8 hours (no exageration) and eventually went into processes and ended it, shortly thereafter I was able to get avast running long enough to find and delete the P.O.S. always good to have free antispy though. kudos:aweof:
