![]() Hoping someone can provide me with some assistance in trying to connect with either Limewire 5.3.6 or Frostwire 4.18.3. My operating system is Windows Vista. I have the Windows firewall turned off and using the Smart firewall on my Norton Antivirus and have it set to allow access for both Limewire and Frostwire. However, both programs indicate that I'm still behind a firewall. I'm assuming that this firewall that is being detected is from the Arizona State University wireless network connection that I'm using. Is there any way to change or disable these settings or am I just not able to use Limewire or Frostwire with this connection? I had no problem when I had cable internet in my former apartment, but now I'm renting a laptop and not able to have internet access where I live. I'm able to access ASU's network, because I live in a downtown area and they're right across the street from my building. If anyone has any information that might help it would be appreciated. Thank you! ![]() |

![]() Yeah... they must block P2P file sharing sites because they are mentioned in their internet use documents. Thanks for the response though... I knew it had to be that, because I have done everything else to try and connect but the University must have firewalls in place to block the use unfortunately! Thanks anyways! ![]() |
