Okay - I'm sure you all know this already.

2.3.1's resume works, although the progress through the file download is now written to download.dat (hmmm - seems logical). Therefore no more faking our resume as you could in 1.7.

In fact, download.dat tracks the multiple hosts involved in the download and (I guess) the points they're responsible for in that download.

All sweet stuff. Now the twist. Don't do what I did (hey I'm a numbnut) and set the "days to keep incomplete files" to 5000 (I wanted to say ... don't ever delete) as the effect is that you trash all your incomplete downloads as soon as LimeWire restarts. Ho hum. 200MB down the drain there. I guess less than a year as a timeout is okay.

Also when purchasing LimeWire, is it me, or was the warning that PayPal will stiff you for an extra $1.95 missing from the online purchase pages? It's not a lot extra, but it did nark me as I thought I was buying LimeWire and not paying an admin company.

Someone's earning too much money for doing nothing here.
