Need help(I need to build a simple p2p network) Hi all, I am new to p2p. I need build a simple p2p network to demonstrate how it works. Does this kind of simple codes exist , or do I need write codes by myself? If I need wirte code by myself. Where can I find API or Library classes that is simply enough for me to finish my work? can I use phex or anything else, what about Jtella? respectful, Eric :Smilywais: |
JTella is horribly outdated, so it can be used for general p2p demonstration, but not for a demonstration for gnutella (the changes since then in easily readeable format: Main Page - Gnufu - Gnutella for Users). But you can simply use Phex (it's licensed under the GPL (the major free software license: Philosophy of the GNU Project - GNU Project - Free Software Foundation (FSF) ) If you need help, please don't hesitate to ask. Best wishes, Arne |
Hi arne_bab, Thanks, I will try. You really help to start! Eric |
I'm glad to be able to help! If you want to access the Phex sources, you can get them from sourceforge: - download latest sources: SourceForge.net: Files - browse svn: SourceForge.net Repository - [phex] Index of /phex/trunk Best wishes, Arne |
