Logging Queries for Statistical analysis of data Hi guys, I need to log the all incoming queries to any gnutella client in a pc and do statistical analysis on the nature of the queries..like what people actually are looking for etc. Arne suggested that i modify phex..but I am not at all a good programmer and certainly dont know java. This work is for my project at school(University of Rochester, New York)..and I can share all the results if some one can help me. Thanks, Sunny (e-mail address edited out - it's rude to suggest answers shouldn't benefit all but only you, just subscribe to the thread instead). |
Sadly you'll have to get into code to do that... I can't help there, either, since I can't do much in Java - that's why I concentrate on forum support and writing about Phex. |
I have been looking to log queries as well for a research project. I had it going before on a older version of phex. I had to edit a config file in my .phex dir and specify what type of logger I was going to use. I know that phex.common.log.NLogger is the class that logs errors, and you can modify that to log queries. |
