All day every d/l I have attempted has been listed as queued and never downloaded. Why?

probably because the users who have the files you are looking for aren't currently on the network, or aren't currently allowing downloads, or have exceeded the maximum number of downloads they will allow at one time.

Ok, Thanks.........but fifty people (approximately) had these conditions all day and not one went through? Hmm' I suppose it's possible although it appears unlikely and has never happened before.......at any rate, everythings fine now......

that wouldn't suprise me. there are a heck of a of people on the Gnutella network, and quite a few of them actually have similar settings, or don't stay logged on all the time.

Since query results come straight from the hosts that have the files that match a query, if they're not connected to the network, they obviously will not return anything (unless they happen to disconnect after being queried). So, the only other answer is that the hosts that have the file you're looking for don't have any free upload slots.
