Question internal error running limewire

Hello,
I'm running version 2.3.1. on Win 98se. When I run it I get an error message "Limewire has had an internal error, but should be rocoverable"it then tells me to send a copy of the error message to limewire(which i did} anyway I connect to the network and when I try to download a file, it tells me it can't find the location to save the file to, go to tools and change the save file. So I change the save file to the default location, hit apply and it tells me it's an illegal file location and limewire can't use it, in fact it does this with any location i use. If anyone knows a fix please help me out. Thanks, and btw i'm very happy with limewire.and it worked fine till 2 days ago.
thanks

Possible explanaitions could be, that your disk is full or maybe some windows specific error.

Try deleting the LimeWire/Shared folder and then start LimeWire again, choosing the usual setup. You can also try to delete your limewire.props file, then you will be guided through the initial configuration process again, when you restart LimeWire.

Last solution is to delete and reinstall LimeWire.

Cool

Thanks for the reply, I tried your suggestion and unfortunatly they didn't work and ultimatly I had to uninstall, delete and download a new copy. I appreciate your effort in trying to solve my problem, but I figured that I probably had corrupted something and I would have to start from the beginning.
Thanks
