![]() Hi I can download stuff fine, but I have no uploads happening - and i actually want people to download some of my files. Anyone have any ideas on how to get this working Anyway I set my firewall/gateway to do port forwarding of port 6346 (UDP and TCP - I think only TCP is necessary here?) to my internal address (192.168.x.x) same port. I know port forwarding works with these 2 boxes as I currently port forward ssh connections successfully. My local machine is listening to port 6346 # netstat -na | grep -i listen tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:6346 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN and I set the force local IP tick box in the limewire options, setting the ip to the external address of my gateway - this _should_ work fine - why doesnt it? I have shared lots of files for a long time - but no downloads. I spose I could fire up ethereal and see whats actually going on - does anyone know if ethereal decodes the gnutella protocol? Thanks Don |
