 MAC USERS: Found FIX for data missing in movies for all mac users, i found the solution to the annoying problem of movies not playing all the way. go to http://www.versiontracker.com and search for rosetta. this program will take apart and fix the MPG so that the movie will play properly. this app is avaliable for MacOS X and 9.2x. good luck!
