Music downloads cause freezeup at startup
 

After numerous times of attempting to install Limewire, I am finally (up to this point) to have Limewire load on my iMac without the freezeup I was getting before. Now I have a new problem. I downloaded five songs and saved them in the system folder until I could download more later to burn on a CD. After restarting the computer later my Norton Antivirus comes on saying there are two or more files it can't scan. It is referring to the 5 songs that I downloaded. It asks me if it wants me have to try scanning again and if I say yes, it still can't scan these songs. I clicked no and Limewire loaded no problem. This time I downloaded 3 more songs for a total of 8 saved. The next day when I started up my computer it froze on startup. I could not get it to work correctly until I trashed and erased these songs from my hard drive and then it was okay.Why are song downloads freezing up the computer at startup???? I have an iMac DV 450MHZ, 20 Gig HD, 256MB Ram and I am using OS 9.0.4.
ANY SUGGESTIOS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
