my file isn't in my download window

I was downloading this file, and when I connected to the gnutella network the day after, the download wouldn't begin. The download was in the 'incomplete folder' and wouldnt start, and i didn't press the 'kill download' button!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's happening here??????????????????????

Happens to me all the time. I wish someone would fix this "incomplete "problem.
