Hi. Is it still impossible to restart downloading incomplete files? I have 2.4.3.

If they were removed from your download list you can't resume them. I once tried writing a java class, that would re-index them and allows limewire to resume them. However the results were quite ugly...

The benifit of it, is that temporary files can be stored while downloading them.

LimeWire is working on making resuming downloads after restarting LimeWire more reliable.

I've noticed that sometimes if you do an exact search for for the incomplete file and you find it, it will pick up were the last one left off. This is still kind of a pain in the *** but is the only way I know how to deal with it.
