![]() I want to share my Limewire 'shared' filed between 2 PC's on my home LAN. This is so I only have to download once, but be able to access the downloaded music from either one. The screen to set up sharing will only let me select files on that PC for sharing. Is there anyway to specify a folder on another networked PC for sharing? ![]() |

![]() Yes - you can share from another PC. You will need to manually enter the network address of the folder on the other computer that you want to share (LimeWire (or Java) doesn't support browsing to network addresses). The network address will be something like: \\wichbkc\c\myshared where 'wichbkc' is the name of the remote computer, 'c' is the drive letter and 'myshared' is the folder you want to share (Windows network). Beware - LimeWire has not been tuned to work well across a network - while it will work - it is likely to be slow and generate a chunk of traffic on your network - particularly while hashing new files.
