video files all say file name bad cannot open

Every video file I download says cannot open, file name is bad. This never used to happen, even files I have viewed before, now I can't veiw them I need help before I destroy my computer. Somebody HHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP

Next time, explain your problem thoroughly.

What O/S are you using? What is your video player? What message (EXACTLY) do you recieve? What file extensions are you trying to open?
