![]() I was wondering if anybody could answer this for me. At home I am connected to the Internet through cable. Using the bandwidth speed test at www.pcpitstop.com I typically get download speeds on average of 512. As soon as I open LimeWire (2.4.4 or any of the past versions) an run the test again it says my speed is like 12? This is just when the program connects and I have no downloads or uploads. I only have 4 connections running at it drains my bandwidth. I cant brows or download anything at a decent speed because I have no bandwidth left. My computer is running windows XP. Now at work I’m connected with a T1 and have no problems, I still have plenty bandwidth and can download things quick. Anybody have any suggestions to what is going on with my home computer and why LimeWire sucks all the bandwidth I have? |
