well you can't directly download them as .wav files if they are not already .wav files. you'll get whatever file type is specified in the search window

are you downloading mp3's?

what cd writing software are you using?

Hey, guess what?? I am also having the same problem you are I believe! Maybe if you find the answer you can let me know. My problem is that I download mp3 songs from the internet and my computer saves them only as m3u files. Then when I try to use the "Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4" it will only allow me to transfer songs with .wav and .mp3 file extensions. Have you figured out yet how to fix this? What type of computer do you have? I have a Sony RX450. Help!!!!!! please!!!

Default ME TOO

I'm having the same problem. When I download the mp3 file it will only allow me to save it as an M3U file and then I can't create a cd. How do you make it stop doing that????

The better quality burner apps can convert most mp3 type's themselves. But on occasions they can't. One stumbling block seems to be Ogg Vorbis. Another way is to use an audio app called
Audacity (a free audio editor) which can open all types of mp3s & save them as any type of mp3 or as aiff or wav. Can also obviously do a lot more such as edit, equalise, filter, etc. All the things programs worth $500 can do. It's just a little slower but heh, it's for free!!!

When you dwnld it, you also need to dwnld not only the app but also the manual, & also the plug-in whatever it's called, Just dwnld all thats n that page! You'll be glad you did.
