![]() Hi, When I relaunch limewire 2.4.4 (windows xp) my incomplete mp3's don't reload and continue downloading. This began while I was running 2.4.2, so I uninstalled it and installed 2.4.4. I have reset the options to point to the correct folders, etc. and restarted Limewire, but still no go. Thanks in advance for your assistance, **EDIT EMAIL ADDRESS** Last edited by Remoc; March 8th, 2009 at 12:12 AM. |

![]() I have the same problem... Any files that end up in the "incomplete" folder stay there never to resume. There is no way that I can see to force them (it's only under the download window that you have this option). Also, there is no way to move these files into the download window. If you ask me, there should be a "force resume" button attached to this folder. If anyone else knows what i'm talking about and has an answer, please post it. thanks |

I also have this problem and I don't see any solutions in the FAQ ... or anywhere else at this time. And I've got this problem even with the previous versions. The fact is that sometimes incompleted files are not anymore in the download window, so it's impossible to resume them... Thanks for helping or answering. François. |

6-4Q. How do I resume the download of a file that failed before reaching 100%? 6-4A. Open your incomplete directory. Any partial downloads will be named something like this: T-2732032-ThisSong.mp3 The number represents the size in bytes. Since LimeWire reports file sizes in kilobytes, the file size is 2,732 kb. The next part is the original file name. The T and dashes are just separators, so don't worry about them. Now, with the information you have collected, perform a search for the song name. Out of your search results, find the one that has the same names and file size in kbs. Files of slighty different sizes may work. Select the appropriate file and click "Download Any", and your download should resume from where it left off before! |
