limewire will not launch certain files
 

After downloading certain files, "mostly exe files", limewire will not launch them. I get error reading saying"limewire will not launch the specefied file for security reasons".
Is there a way arround this, so i can launch the files?

How can you possibly launch an incomplete exe file?
And the only way to bypass this is to recompile LimeWire.

YOU PROBABLY MISUNDERSTOOD MY QUESTION. THE FILES I'M TALKING ARE COMPLETED FILES.
BEFORE I CAN DOWNLOAD THESE FILES LIMEWIRE WILL WARN ME THAT IT MAY CONTAIN A VIRUS. SO I DOWNLOAD ANYWAY AND AFTER ITS COMPLETED LIMEWIRE WON'T LAUNCH IT. IT SAYS LIMEWIRE WILL NOT LAUNCH SPECEFIED FILE FOR SECURITY REASONS.

LimeWire won't open .exe files; you need to open them directly in Windows like any other application.
