![]() I have Limewire 2.3.1 because that is the latest version i could find without the limit of 12 connections in the connections tab. I recently downloaded a few very large movies. Two were in mpeg and two were in AVI. When i attempt to play either the mpeg or avi movies, i see no video, but i can hear corrupted sound. The sound track seems to go on a lot longer than the movies length(sound track = 14hrs when movie is about an hour). It sounds like bursts of static at different volume levels with random intervals of silence. If you know anything, please help!!! thanks |

![]() http://nimo.everwicked.com/ Download and install Nimo Codecs Pack v5.0 build 7 if you are running Windoze. Pay attention to the warnings regarding two of the video codecs. Be sure to select for inclusion in your Start Menu. In the install program, Red Checkmarks indicate 'selected'. ![]() There is very little to do - Nearly everything you can imagine should run after installing Nimo's pack. It's free. Say something if it works or not, OK?

![]() (i accidentally made a new thread) No, the codec pack doesnt help. I still don't believe how 4 seperate movies from 4 seperate sources could be all corrupted the same way. And they are in two different formats, AVI and MPEG. This is why i believe it's a problem with Limewire. |

![]() It is not Morpheous nor limewire as I had tried downloading the same files with both but it really Pissing me off as I tried installing divx 3.11 Alpha then divx 4 , then divx 5 and none worked. An mpg and avi ,,,and (Divx).avi did the same thing. So as far as downloading these movies from either morph or limewire I,m out of the game until someone can find a reason as to why this happens. I did get 2 avi files to work though ,,but the rest now are all the same, No video but choppy intermittent audio playing at 80kbps in WMP. |

![]() (NOT THE SAME GUY) It also does it with Mp3's ... just got two here that seem to have had the bitrate settings stripped right out of them ... winamp plays them at 16kbps (these are 128 or better files, mind), and WMP plays them at 80kbps ... Any clues? |

![]() I have nimo's codec pack and believe these avi files are just fakes plain and simple. My thought is not to delete them but mark them as bad or fake or the ocassional wrong title and leave them up so others can see the exact file size. I think this because they are all avi's on July releases some out before the theater release date such as **EDIT**, **EDIT**, and other new big releases. Do you think I'm doing the right thing?
