In the options of Limewire, I can't save my downloads into anything other than the default shared folder, is there any way around this?!
I am using Windows 2000 and here is my experience:
- I used windows explorer and navigated to C:\Program Files\ Limewire
- I created a new folder called incoming
- Started Limewire
- went to Tools / Options / Saving
- Selected Browse
- Highlighted the new folder names incoming
- clicked select
- and answered NO to the share from this folder (I like to isolate incoming files so that junk files don't automaticaly get shared.
- Selected apply
I then ran a test download and all files now go to the newly created folder - it worked!
- Limewire allows you to create a folder but I was unable to name it so I used the method listed above.
