 fast connection, slow downloads i have dialup and until the last few days i have sustained reasonable speeds when downloading. ex 5 or 6 kb's/sec or a combination of dl's to equal this speed. something has happened and now i am getting less than 1 kb/sec for the file(s) i am dl'ing. this is happening while my connection icon at bottom right (windows Me) is telling me that i am receiving at a rate of 5 kb's/sec or around that amount. how can limewire dl so slow when my computer is receiving all this extra bandwidth? i don't have any programs running and no uploads going. email: **EDIT EMAIL ADDRESS** thanx jacob Last edited by Remoc; March 8th, 2009 at 08:02 AM.  |
