![]() Help! I'm 109 Mb into a 129 Mb download over a MODEM! The program froze, which isn't always a problem, but this time when I start it up it resumes the download, but back at zero. It starts a new file, ignoring the existing chunk. Is there a way to edit the download.dat file or ANYthing I can do to finish this sucker off. Starting over just won't cut it. I'm really deperate here. PLEASE help if you can. |

![]() Thanks. My experiences are consistent with yours - generally LW is able to resume even after being quit and coming back hours later. Of course you have to search again because the original host will likely be gone, but as soon as it finds the file somewhere else, away it goes. Anybody have any tips or tricks to get an incomplete download started again? Not just the usual hiccups. |

![]() Upgraded to latest version (2.5.3?) last night and now the download that previously seemed dead, and was trying to start back at zero, is resuming! Seems generally faster, too. |
