Default Requery sent, Waiting 299 for results

I’m new to all this. I’ve looked in the FAQ’s’ and help areas without any luck.

I have successfully downloaded five files so I know this puppy can work. But most of the time I first get a “connecting” message which after a few seconds is replaced with “Requery sent, Waiting 299 for results.” The number 299 counts down to zero and starts all over again. I’ve gone away and come back after several hours and it’s still counting down. Can someone please give me a clue as to what’s up? Thanks in advance.

I don't have any help or ideas, but I have the same problem. Except I haven't managed to download a whole file just half of one. I've got 10 files that say requery and when it gets to zero they start counting again. It also disconnects frequently, it's getting annoying and completely not worth it.

Same here, I am able to get 1 out of 10 request at best.

Most request end up with the same info, but if I do a new search I steen see about 5 or 6 of the same file I seek.

Is this normal?
I am also on dsl and most of what I am able to download comes at 2 to 9 kb??

I can do 40 to 80 with kazaa?
