Question !!!!PLEASE HELP!!!!! Downloaded videos dont play out in their entirety!!

i could be doing fine with a download, preview it and see it in its entirety at that point, get to a certain percent
(10-20 usually), and it won't even play what it played just before! Sometimes only 3 seconds of a video!!
after i just played five minutes of the video one second ago!! Why is this happening!!! It seems
like a glitch in the program, and it's starting to happen to more and more of my downloads..
Someone has to know what's wrong

i have a mac it didn't work, yes mpegs,

thank you for trying to help..
i'm playing the videos on quicktime player, MPGS
i'm initiating from the incomplete folder when i restart,
but sometimes even in the middle of running the program it will go back
to playing a few seconds.. even when i know a lot more should play

that link is of no help to me
it's limewire not my player

i apoligize.
but i do run numerous searches.
i know a lot about this program.
but i have a really hard time with many files.
i dont expect magic.
but MANY files do not resume from the incomplete folder.
MANY files do not play out the entire percent they should and just did.
i just wanna see if anyone else had this problem..
becuase it seems to be a major one..
THANKS FOR TRYING TO HELP IM JUST REALLLLY FRUSTRATED.. SORRY
