I have an IMac with DSL and OS 8.6 and it seems that on Limewire if I try to download anything bigger than 6mb it automatically starts off with the Requery sent message and it never downloads. It will countdown from 300 over and over again. And also, if I do get to download something moderatly big, its incredibly slow (even if the other user has a t3). For instance, Im downloading a movie that is 20mb and its going at 1.4k per second. What is going on with my Limewire?

I am totally frustrated with LW. 9 times out of 10 I get this stupid requiry, or it starts downloading only to go to 0kb per second and sit there. I know it is sad to rant about something that lets you enjoy a freebie and I should be grateful, but what good is it if it consumes your patience and time? I switched to mac so that is why i am trying it, but I guess i was spoiled using pc programs which work much better. I am sorry by LW is an excercise in frustration and is just not worth it! I am going to get virtual pc and go back to the pc only programs. But at least LW gives us a forum to release that frustration, thanks for that and sorry for the venting (but it feels so much better!)

Lime Wire sucks so much it's not even funny. Is it the only program out there for macs cuz if there's ANYTHING else please let me know. This is pathetic. I either get a requery sent message or the download goes at a rate of 0 or close to 0 kb/s. All my friends with the same college connection as me download songs in 2 seconds and it takes me at least 1 hour.
