![]() I am using windows XP Pro with the newest version of limewire and my uploads do not....go. They sit at 0kbps, my settings should be fine, I have infinite bandwidth enabled for uploads. I am not behind a firewall and I am using a cable modem. What's the deal with this? |

![]() When you say the 'latest version of limewire' do you mean the official release (2.5.5) or the Beta (2.6.3 last I looked)? The Beta version fixes the major upload problems (0KB/s uploads) I was having. Mark Last edited by Treatid; September 16th, 2002 at 03:45 PM. |

![]() I had the same problem with 2.5.5, except I'm running plain old XP, not pro. So far 2.6.3 beta is giving me the same problem. Is there a trick I'm missing? There aren't any firewall issues to contend with here either.... |

![]() I am running Win 2000 Pro with LW 2.6.3 and am having the same problem of no u/l. I THINK I have the settings correct but who knows. (Also running cable with no firewall, virus prot, or anything else till prob fixed). |

![]() No uploads is a different problem to 0KB/s uploads. The latter has been fixed in 2.6.3 of LimeWire. The former is a different problem - almost certainly to do with your network rather than LimeWire per se. XP has a built in firewall that may be causing problems (even if you don't think you have activated it). Beyond that - I can't help much. I have to beat them off with a stick here. Mark W2K SP3, no firewall, LW2.6.3, cable, sophos AV. |

![]() I'm still getting nothing but 0KB uploads with 2.6.3. XP shouldn't be a factor, because I never had a problem sharing on this system until I switched from 2.4.3 to 2.5.5. Downloads are no issue, but the uploads (5 slots worth on a cable connection) all fill up within 5 minutes of connecting , and then just sit at 0KB. |
