Could not move to library problem

Why the hell do half of my downloads say cannot move to library? It only happens with some files, and it does not have anything to do with size. This is really frustrating, and it limits my downloads on an already limited program.

There are certain illegal file system characters: \ / : * ? " < > |

If the files you are trying to download contain any of these then you'll get the 'cannot move to library error'.

This is the most common reason for the error. There are others which you can find if you browse through the forum.

When this has happened to me, I simply shut down limewire and re-start; the file should find its' way to the library.
