so i never got a "shared" folder, just an incomplete folder, so now everytime i close the program i lose everything i just downloaded. i can't find it anywhere in my hard drive. i'm pissed. i tried to make myself a shared folder but it wouldn't let me. so please tell me what to do.

Go to Tools|Options|Saving and Tools|Options|Sharing and specify your download directory.

These are, in fact, probably already set up.

The default locations for the save directory on windows is:

c:\Program Files\Limewire\Shared.

If you look in there I imagine you will find all your downloaded files.
