My Downloads Always Launch Limewire??!!?

I download software ..... says I get complete file.... when I try to install ... limewire relaunches and software wont install...
What is going on?
Also ...what types of files should I be looking for to run on a Mac
I'm new to the mac world

same here...

Same thing happens to me. I tried changing the file name but that doesn't work. You want to look for sit, dmg, and app files. Exe files won't work on mac.
