Gnutella Forums - Uploads Make No Progress

I originally posted this in the Beta forum but realize it may be more appropriate here. Anyone?

The upload rate-limiting feature is turned off. I have sufficient outbound bandwidth and have attempted to transfer files between two computers that can normally transfer hundreds of kB/s between one another, and the transfer always makes almost no progress.

Mac OS X 10.2.1 on iMac G4/800 (configuration unchanged since 2.6.3)
