But you could be sharing corrupted files you've downloaded!. Corruption causes could be many.... faulty 'ripping' (converting audio to digital formats).... glitches in the net traffic.... Problem is compounded as more and more people download these damaged files! I listen to everything I download, but not everyone does.... at least not always at the moment of download completion. Therefore others can download that damaged file. If it's faulty, then several more bad bad copies of this file exist after they've downloaded; this continues when more people download from them.... and so on....
I'd suggest you note the size and full name of a file. Listen to the file after download, if you determine it is bad, find another version of the file with different attributes and download again.
