 Optimize for Limewire: router vs modem I'm using LimeWire 4.0.8 for my PC with Windows 98SE. I'm currently using (budget) ADSL router (D-Link DSL-500G for single PC) for my connection (512/256Kbps). For the case, is ADSL router or ADSL modem provide faster downloading and uploading using LimeWire? (let's ignore the manufacturer/model factors of equipments but focus on the difference with router vs modem etc.) Please explain the reasons... Thanks for any answer.  |
