Default how and where do I describe file

How and where do I enter details cocnerning the file to be uploaded ? Is there a way of adding a description to files which are to be shared and uploaded ?

Yes, go to the library screen, select the file you want to add info to and click 'Annotate...'.

you have to wait a bit -- it doesn't activate until all files are hashed and then analyzed for existing metadata (like mp3 info and whatnot)

and just fyi, the next version (whenever it arrives) will display files that aren't yet hashed in the library. they'll just be colored red & won't have statistics for the uploads/hits/locations. so you can still add them to the playlists and whatnot.
