![]() Why is it that when I try to launch a downloaded executable file, I receive an error message that says, 'Limewire will not launch the specified file for security reasons'? Does this mean that the file holds a virus and I can't use it? HHEEEELLLPPP!!! |
| |||
![]() It's possible that any executable could contain a virus. The message means that Limewire will not launch the file for security reasons. However if you are using a Windows Box you can launch the file using the Windows Explorer. One word of caution. You should scan the file with your virus scanner before opening. Good Luck Hope this helps.
