 Newbie question: time of day/day of week My son asked me to download 8 files for him. Sunday morning between 5:00 GMT and 10:00 GMT I found and downloaded 6 of them averaging a total speed of 50 KB/s. At the same time several users uploaded files from my computer averaging about 15 KB/s total. Since then I've tried unsuccessfully to download the remaining 2 files. I've left LimeWire running for 48 hours straight, but no joy. I have about 50% of one file and none of the other. The best average speeds I've seen were short bursts of 5 KB/s. Is there a recommened time of day and/or day of the week for downloading? Should I limit my LimeWire activities to early Sunday morning? Happy Thanksgiving.  |
