![]() I am new to limewire and would like to share as many files as possible with everyone but I can't figure out how to get my files into the shared folder from my roxio program. Also under the shared file it has different columns: uploads, hits and locations. What do each of these mean? My hits column has alot of numbers but my uploads doesn't have any. What does this mean? Thanks, Nicole [email]/email] Last edited by 6_pac; March 18th, 2009 at 11:39 PM. |

![]() Nicole: You don't have to move your files to the Limewire shared directory in order to share them. You can make your Roxio directory a shared one. On the top bar of Limewire select "tools", "options", "sharing", "add". Now using the window that opened navigate to the directory you want to share and select it. The files will be shared and you don't have to move them. The "hits" are the number of times a search from someone "hit" that file. The uploads column shows the number of successful uploads of that file. I hope that helps you and thanks for sharing. Norm |
