whats the deal with the requery??
 

I have been using Limewire for about a year now and i have always loved it. But within the past 3 days everytime i try and download a song i get the damn requery sent notice. I bet i have tried to dl 100 songs and i have no been able to dl any of them. This is really annoying and i am thinking of trying another program. Whats the deal?

btw, i am on dsl and i am sharing 600 or so songs and i have version 2.7.3 pro

Nope, I have the same problem with EVERY file I try to download.

Ditto. I upgraded to 2.7.7 not long ago. It seems that over the past month or so, 98% of what I try to download just fails and goes on requery. The requery feature is a nice improvement from earlier versions when you log back in, but not if you can never get the file anyway. It's been frustrating.

I have also the Problem! I'm running Vers. 2.7.9 on a Apple PowerBook and Cable Connection.
When i start the download it's working for some seconds and than REQUERY.
I don't found out whats happen with that.

I'm new to LimeWire but am having the same problem. I've successfully downloaded two files, but I've tried dozens since then with no success.

I noticed this thread started a month ago -- have any of you found a solution or explanation yet?

I eventually signed up with KaZaa and it's been absolutely terrific. I highly recommend it.

same problem as well. i DLed limewire today. and i have been trying to DL this one file for like 3 hours now. this is the first time limewire is successfully running on my computer (i have tried before but it never worked)... it made me all happy for few minutes because it's working but what's the meaning of having it if i can't DL any file. the requery just counts down from 284 over and over and over and over. arg...
any solution?

ALL MINE SAYS IS "QUEUED" THEN DOES NOTHING!!!
 

WHY does it do that...i have Mac OSX and a modem, and i just DLed limewire. But it let me DL 5 other songs just fine...Macs dont seem to have any other DL programs. Does anyone know of any because I dont think that this limewire is going to work anymore.

MY DL IS KILLING ME!!!
 

EACH TIME I TRY TO DL LIME WIRE UNEXPECTEDLY QUITS- AND DL TIME IS A TEASER!!! ANY SOLUTION???
