![]() There are times when LimeWire shows less uploads than the max, and balances the bandwidth between them as if the max uploads were in progress. Upon checking the "Tool->Stastics", it shows "Current Uploads" as the amount it shows active in the upload que. I have no idea what is causing this discrepancy. --- Further load balancing --- I allocate 24KB to upstream, and allow 3 users to fetch from me. This results in 8KB/sec transfers, unless I get a modem user (or just a laggy downloader). Now, if I've got a modem user taking 3KB/sec instead of 8KB, I'm sure the other fetchers could benifit from having the excess 5KB devoted to them. Worse, if you've got more upstream bandwidth than I do, then modem users will have a greater discrepancy! |
