**What is "Could Not Move to Library"? Hello, After updating to Limewire 2.8.5 Pro for OS X I have had a dramatic increase in the error message "Could Not Move to Library" for downloading files. In many cases, when I have successfully connected to servers and I'm well into the download I get this error message. Could someone please explain what this means and how to correct this error? |
Hi Otter: Version 2.8.5 Pro seems to have issues with this. It seems to lose track of the download progress and tries to move incomplete files. This error seems to be worse if you refresh your shared files or switch between the upload and download views often. Go to your incomplete directory, highlight the file and click resume. This often restarts the file and it will (hopefully) complete and move to your download directory. If you get "requery" when you try to resume do a new search for the file. This will help direct Limewire to relocate the file either through the original client or from another source. Good luck and watch for 2.8.6 (hopefully soon) to resolve the issue. Norm |
