Default i have no 'shared' folder in my library

hi there,

when i go into my library, i'm told that i'm supposed to have at least 2 folders: shared and incomplete. whenever my songs are done downloading, they are sent to my 'shared' folder by default. problem is, i don't have that folder. i only have the 'incomplete' folder. so i can't seem to find any of my songs. help...please!

Lightbulb

Go to Tools>Options>Sharing... the Shared Folder should appear in "Shared Directories"... highlight it, hit Apply, then OK.
You should now see the Shared Folder listed along with the Incomplete Folder in the Library Tab.

Default same problem, but solution doesn't work

I have the same problem--no shared folder--but when I follow the steps you describe as a solution, when I get to the folder you're talking about, there's nothing in that field. I have nothing I can click and apply.

Question How to Move and Complete "Incomplete" Files

When I click on my Library, I get three folders:
1) Limewire
2) lib with sub folders META-INF and xml (with its own subfolders)
2) Incomplete

I want to delete the second ("lib") folder, but don't know how.
My "Incomplete" folder shows empty, but I have a folder on my desktop called Incomplete which has 196 audio files in it. How do I:
1) move that desktop folder to the Library's "Incomplete" folder and
2) complete the downloads on those 196 files without running the same searches all over again?

I'm a new user on an iMac OS 9.1 using a DSL who has checked the Users Guide and FAQ without luck.
(I'm also having trouble with the "Can't Move to Library" Bug, but I saw the discussions on that.)

Thanks.
