Version 2.8.5.

But it's giving me a lot of problems that I didn't have before.

1. It seems to be harder to get a song to start downloading.

2. If I CAN actually get the song to dl, it seems to be developing the habit of quitting at about 2 percent, which never used to happen! This message comes up, "Requery sent, Waiting for Results." And I mean this happens nearly EVERY TIME.

3. Songs are generally taking longer to download than before, in the couple of occasions I've been able to get them to download.

4. Also, people seem to be having trouble getting my songs. When I go to the moniter everybody's transfer always seems to be interrupted early on in the song, like at 4%.

PLEASE help me. I wish I had never upgraded! I never used to have this trouble. Isn't there any way I can just get rid of it and go back to the old version? Or should I maybe download the new version over again? Thank you in advance for any help or advice.

Take a look at some of the other posts about 2.8.5 - there are some 'known' problems. Downloading the same version again will not help.

I downgraded to 2.7.3 to get rid of some of the 'new features'.
I de-installed 2.8.5 first; then did a clean install of an old 2.7.3 version). Things are a lot more stable now, although there are still a lot of 2.8.5 copies out there...
