downloaded files are "lime wire documents" When I download mpeg or jpeg - sometimes - they are "lime wire documents" or "keyspan usb card assistant" documents in my download file. It's wierd because it does not happen all the time. When I try to open them, they either open Limewire or I receive a message that the computer could not find the program. Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

(Was this a statement of the initiator of this thread)? Assuming you have Windoze, what standard application is linked to jpeg? What if you just rename it (okok, not the sexiest solution.....) |
Download File is a Limewire document???? DUH!! I'm having a very similar problem on my iMac but it is MP 3 files it can't open. When I click "Get Info" it says it's a limewire document. It refuses to open in Quicktime Real Player or Windows Media Player. I too would like to solve this. Incidentally when I open the MP3 file it too triggers Limewire to open RATHER than the file ???? I am ready to eat nails I have uninstalled and reloaded the client still to no avail does anyone have a suggestion? |
why not just go to windows media player and quicktime player and open the files from there |
I am having the same problem, and opening from quicktime player doesn't work |
