Streaming?

Help.

I've got a PC (with no CD-RW) at my office which contains several files that I would like to move to my Imac at my home.

I thought I would be able to access them by using LW and download them on my Imac by doing a DNS search but it's not working.

I also tried doing a search (on the LW OS X)for some rare mp3s that I knew I had on my office PC in hopes of finding my CPU randomly, but that of course did not work either.

When I browse the hosts their DNS seem to have more digits than mine. Am I looking in the right place (Control Panel/Network/DNS Configuration)?

I know there is an easy solution to this, but I just can't figure it out. Any suggestions???????

if you are running windows at work, i would use spyamp, a winamp plugin, with password protection, so only you can get at them.

I appreciate your reply, and correct me please if I am wrong, but I don't think I can download winamp onto OSX on my Imac to use that method to find my PC.

SpyAmp is a simple web server plugin for Winamp that will allow you to connect to your work computer using a browser and download the files in your winamp playlist
on you imac you would download with your web browser, or download manager if you have one.
try downloading from some of the servers set up without passwords if you wanna see how it works
