Default downloaded files are "limewire docs" not mpeg like they were supposed to be.

When I download mpeg or jpeg - sometimes - they are "lime wire documents" or "keyspan usb card assistant" documents in my download file. It's wierd because it does not happen all the time. When I try to open them, they either open Limewire or I receive a message that the computer could not find the program.
Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Right-click on one of those files, go to "Open With...", and select the program you want to open it with.

Talking think i got it

When I went to open the docs the way you said to, I relised that they didn't have extensions. I put ".mpeg" at the end and they are playing now.
Thanks a lot.
