asking for user name a lot
 

I have been using limewire for a couple of months and I haven't really had any problems with it, but lately when I leave the program running for a while a small box pops up on the screen and asks me for my username and password. There are a bunch of different numbers across the top. I am asked many, many times to do this, what is this box for? Thank-you.

It's an ftp server login (probably). It's come up at http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=18790 , but no one with real brains has chimed in yet.

(My brains are off the shelf, one size fit's all)

I am having a simlar problem to nichole- Limewire used to be working fine for me- but recently, every time i open it- a box pops up over and over asking for my username and password. Then, when i finally get rid of that and go to search for something- absolutely nothing is coming up! What is wrong and what should i do / Thank you
