I have been a happy user of LimeWire for almost 2 years. As soon as I downloaded the most recent version (2.8.6), I rarely have a smooth download. Most downloads stay on the "Requery..." and never even download. Half the downloads that do finally go through at slow rates of 10 KB/sec and slower. Before this version, I would have nearly everything I found download on first click at speeds of 20-40 KB/sec.

My Husband and I have two computers and never had a problem until the new version.

The new version slows my computer to almost a halt and I have practically abandoned limwire all together. My downloads are a 2kb/sec when they were at 24-68kb/sec. I don't know what they did, but it sucks. I run a Mac

My husband has the same problem and he runs windows 2000. It isn't a platform issue... Limewire---- bring back the old version.
