Why is it that every single person that uploads from me uploads at a speed of exactly 12.5 kb/sec. I have a cable and am trying to share the wealth of my files, and am devoting like 99.9% of my bandwidth to uploads, but nobody seems to be able to get good speeds from me. The speed of their upload always blinks once at 12.5, then 0, then 12.5 again, etc. Not that it really hurts me, just trying to be a good limewire member...somebody please explain this phenomonon to me.

change your connection speed to t1 or t3..........and adjust the upload speed accordingly.
