What's the deal with the songs lately In the past month since I've tried to download the ********l soundtrack a month before it was coming out and other new songs. I've noticed alot of songs have either a phone sound or a warping sound in the middle of the song and it seems to freeze my computer when I try to burn a CD. Can anyone give me some background on this problem. |
ME TOO!! Oh my god, its so great to find someone with the same problem. I've been trying to download ******** songs and i'm getting the same thing. I read somewhere that the big corporate heads of the music companies have been invading the gnutella network and have been planting things like these in the system. I do not know if its the case or not, but I have faced the same problem.  email address removed for personal safety reasons. It's not a good idea to put your email address where all the weirdos can see it.. if you really need to do this, leave a note for the Mods and they will leave it in |
same thing I got the same thing. I did manage to get one song of the new ******* album. But all the others are "bugged". Man how crappy is that. I support the labels right to protect there client, but come on...Musicians make WAY too much as it is now, right? O-well, I guess this is the wave of the future. If anyone knows a soultion to this problem...PLEASE POST!!! J:confused:  |
I'm getting the same "phone" type of tones!!! Argh!!! Is there a solution to this? Is there a way to remove these tones after download? Thanks! |
It's not your fault Hi Guys I have downloaded ******** without any trouble. Your problem probably comes from a different source. Sometimes files are corrupted when they are being downloaded. There are all kinds of blips and chirps that can intrude into the file when the binary stream is disrupted. Some people allow these corrupted files to remain in their Shared caches without any warning. In this way, the corrupted files spread. You have all probably downloaded the same corrupted file, albeit from different sources. That you have left this file in your own Shared caches means that the problem will slowly spread. So please, do the decent thing and trash that file. Go back on to Gnutella and find an uncorrupted version. If we all work in this way, we can all avoid wasted downloads. |
Good point! I'll make sure I remove all bad copies! However, It is not a random blip!! I'm getting the exact same, very clear tones in different downloads!! And, it shows up 3 or 4 times in each song. The mystery continues!!! |
